At Oceanside Recreation Therapy, we believe that every day should be filled with purpose, connection, and moments of joy. Our dementia-friendly Adult Day Program is designed for older adults who would benefit from companionship, engaging activities, and a supportive environment, while providing caregivers with valuable time to recharge.

Unlike many traditional adult day programs, we intentionally keep our group size small, with a maximum of just eight participants. This allows us to truly get to know each person, build meaningful relationships, and create experiences that reflect each individual's interests, strengths, and abilities. Here, everyone is known by name, and everyone belongs.

What truly sets our program apart is our belief that meaningful living doesn't stop at the door.  We like to think of our program as an adult day program without walls.

While we enjoy activities together at our welcoming program space, we believe some of life's best moments happen out in the community. Whether we're sharing coffee at a local café, strolling along the waterfront, exploring parks and gardens, visiting local markets, or attending community events, participants remain connected to the people, places, and experiences that make life meaningful. Community integration isn't an occasional outing—it's a core part of who we are.
